Shart

Shart is being produced by Southside movie tycoon Trivikrama Rao, and is being directed by Puri Jagannatha (a famed souther director). It is a remake of telugu superhit "Badri", starring Gracy, along side Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Arora. It is an offbeat romantic triangle, where Gracy plays the character of "Sonam" who is an exuberant and trendy westernised girl. "'It has a lot of shades to it. Everything happens because of the girl" Gracy says. With this role she has terrific scope for an intense performance "particularly towards the climax".

In Gracy own words: "It is a nice experience working within a southern set-up. Good directors is what I always look out for when I sign a movie. The story of this film is in itself not very great but the way he projected it was superb. Jagannathji has also written the script of this triangular love story.

Yehi Hai Zindagi

Yehi Hai Zindagi, revolves around Vasundhara - played by Gracy. It is a somewhat convoluted story of a classical dancer who ends up at the wrong dance performance — in South Africa — and falls in love with an NRI India-hating Uday. Poor Vasundhara doesn't realise that the show she has missed is organised by an underworld don, which means that event organiser Vijay Thakur is now in trouble and that the goons are after her for the losses they have suffered.

Gracy's co-stars include Saahil Khan (of 'Style' fame), Parvin Dabas (of 'Monsoon Wedding' fame) and Naseeruddin Shah. The film is written and directed by Ajay Phansekar for producers Manoj Khalatkar and Gopal Kondawar. It will feature music by Arvind-Nirmal, lyrics by Rajan Bane and Sanjay Churmure, and choreographed by Saroj Khan.

Wajahh...A Reason To Kill

'Wajahh...A Reason To Kill' was launched on Saturday, December the 6th 2003 (and is currently under production). "It is a thriller with a mystery and plenty of suspense," says director Gautam Adhikari, the elder of the Adhikari Bros, who is the chairman of SAB TV.

Gracy's co-stars in the film include Arbaaz Khan, Shamita Shetty and Zulfi Sayed. Gracy plays "Trishna" a doubting wife to a her neurosurgeon husband (Khan) - doubt that soon compounds into paranoia and fear, over the predictions of a soothsayer, and the return of an old flame of her husband's (Shamita Shetty). One morning the two discover an ominous writing in big red letters on the wall "I won't see this"...

About her role in the film, Gracy says: "I'm just playing a sensitive girl, a very strong character, who has family relations - parents and a person that she loves and wants to spend her life with. There can be no comparisons between this character and any other that I've done before".

Wajahh... is expected to be completed on a start-to-finish schedule and the makers hope to release it by the end of May 2004.

Dil Humko Dijiye

'Dil Humko Dijiye, co-starring Raj Babbar and his son Aryan Babbar is close to Gracy's heart for the sheer connection it has with Punjab. She says, "This film is very Punjabi at heart. It is all about directing displaced people back to their roots. I play an impetuous girl, in love with the hero. The character that I play in Dil Humko Dijiye is that of a loud, stubborn and extroverted college girl who lives by her own rules. Something similar to what Saira Bano played in Padosan. And the role has become all the more exciting for me because I'm not like that at all".

The film is written and produced by Chitraath, and is directed by Kuku Babbar with Raj Shah.
